Waterside District’s Opening

Waterside District will be open to the public on Thursday, May 4th, with official Grand Opening celebrations on May 11 – 14th! Everyone is invited to our opening, and people can access the many dining and entertainment experiences that Waterside District has to offer. We’re so excited!

Grand Opening Celebrations

Waterside District will kick-off Grand Opening with celebratory fun all weekend long from Thursday, May 11th through Sunday, May 14th. This four-day long event will be open to the public and filled with live music, pop-ups and activities for the entire community. Everyone is invited to participate, and we’re excited for everyone to be a part of the festivities!

*Please know that Waterside District also has a code of conduct. After 10pm or during designated special events, patrons must be 21 years of age or older and possess a valid id; no loitering; no weapons; no panhandling; no solicitation; no disorderly conduct including profanity or profanity on clothing; shoes and shirts must be worn at all times; no bicycles or skateboards; no professional cameras; no coolers. For any questions, please ask to speak to a manager.

Weezer, New Politics and Chase Rice will play in the MULE, our outdoor multi-use lot for entertainment. This is an age restricted event, so you will need to be 21+ to enter. However, those who are under 21 are still allowed to partake in Waterside District festivities. Individuals will be able to enjoy their music from other areas on our property and nearby, for example on the Elizabeth River Trail or Town Point Park.
