Hampton Roads has seven cities and seven venues specifically in Norfolk, Virginia to celebrate and experience world class arts and culture; Attucks Theatre, Chrysler Hall, Harbor Park, Harrison Opera House, Open Air Events, Scope Arena and the Wells Theatre. Waterside District oftentimes partners with SevenVenues on large city events, such as the annual downtown Norfolk Grand Illumination Day Parade, or shows like Cirque du Soleil, to provide locals and visitors with a full dining and entertainment experience.

Norfolk Festevents is dedicated to creating the most dynamic urban waterfront community in America through innovative programming and imaginative uses of its historic waterfront spaces. Adjacent to Waterside District, Town Point Park hosts a series of events that provide local experiences for hundreds of thousands of guests annually. Most notably, Waterside District supports the Virginia Wine Festivals in the Fall and Spring, as well as Harborfest weekend, the Children's Festival and so on, giving the District a substantial and sustainable opportunity to reach its audiences.

tHRive Young Professionals - Through a strong partnership with tHRive, Waterside District has quickly become a destination for young professionals in Hampton Roads Chamber which cultivates community development by providing a platform to empower young professionals, give them a voice, and invest in the future of the region. The annual tHRive Anniversary Party in the Harbor Club is a popular event for millenials across Hampton Roads.

The mission of the Virginia Arts Festival is to bring world-class performing arts to our citizens and visitors, impact the lives of students through outstanding educational programs, commission new works of national and international significance, and make a tangible difference in Hampton Roads through regional partnerships and cultural tourism.
