About The Artist

Americana Music incorporates elements of various American roots music styles, including country, roots-rock, folk, bluegrass, R&B and blues. Chicago Native Brian Grilli is that personified and has been bringing these elements in his music to audiences around the USA and Europe. He has written songs for "Sons of Anarchy", Award Winning Independent Documentary "Until It Hurts”, and has amassed over two million streams. "His success is attributed to his prolific songwriting, aggressive-yet-melodic guitar playing, and unique voice. Brian blends Southern Rock, Americana, Country, and Blues to form a familiar sound that doesn’t fit neatly into any one genre." -Melanie Jongsma Lansing Journal.

Juxtaposing catchy and hook-laden melodies with thought provoking and introspective personal lyrics, this is an artist that knows how to entertain and captivate. Fans and critics alike have described Brian as “Having the ability to paint a picture whilst singing is something that not all artists can do, but Brian Grilli has mastered this art and with that I believe that many listeners can listen and relate to his stories.”-Jessica Troche Playbuzz.com“There is undeniable emotion in every song creating a more personal listening experience. Each song tells a different story that seems to just blend into the next story even if they’re different topics."-Rebecca Osier SkopeMag.com

Brian caught the attention of both the independent and national music scene with his debut album “Damn Good Day”,producing a #1 hit with the title track on New Music Weekly & Indieworld. His sophomore effort, “Deep South Symphony”,gained substantial radio airplay and media attention as it hit 9 Billboard Charts. The album produced two singles “My Hometown” and “California”, both making it to the top ten on New Music Weekly and Americana Radio charts.  His album “Progression” is a compilation of demo, B-sides, unreleased and live recordings written throughout his career showing the growth and maturity in his songwriting and diversity.

Brian’s newest album “Great Big Sky” is his third studio album produced by Levi Lowery at Nebari Studios in Athens, Georgia. It features guest spots by Blackberry Smoke’s Charlie Starr and Paul Jackson, as well as Steepwater Band’s Jeff Massey. These genre busting songs give off classic rock and Americana vibes, with all of them provoking familiar emotions and situations.

Brian has performed at many venues, festivals and clubs including Sturgis Bike Rally, Country USA, Musikmesse, NAMM. Brian has also opened for Blackberry Smoke, David Allen Coe, Steel Woods, Brantley Gilbert, Cheap Trick and .38 Special. Brian puts on a captivating, high-energy performance blending musicianship, creativity and tradition."He has developed a songwriting style and a stage presence that makes a strong connection with country audiences — whether it’s a few dozen people in a Hampton Roads bar or tens of thousands at the famous motorcycle rally in Sturgis, South Dakota, where he has played several times." -Mike Hoytzclaw Daily Press.
