1. Military Appreciation at Waterside District
Waterside District offers a 20% military discount at Guy Fieri's Smokehouse, Blue Moon TapHouse, The Market, and Rocky Mountain Grill with proper identification. -
2. U.S. Military Veterans Motorcycle Club
Waterside District is a proud supporter of the United States Military Veterans Motorcycle Club, a non-profit organization established in 1987 to provide qualified military veteran bikers a brotherhood. The brotherhood offers club members an opportunity to establish relationships with other military veteran bikers, and raise awareness for the positive image of military veterans and bikers to the general public. Waterside hosts regular Bike Nights once a month on Thursdays at PBR Norfolk, where the Military Vets emcee and their supporters are invited to enjoy food, drinks, music, games and good times! -
3. Freedom Fridays at PBR Norfolk
PBR Norfolk salutes the military every day, whether it be through their dedicated Wall of Heroes celebrating unsung military heroes in Hampton Roads with a formal plaque, and patriotic party, or Freedom Fridays. Freedom Fridays are Friday evenings dedicated to the military, first responders and their supporters, where all military and first responders receive special discounts between 6:00 to 9:00 PM. -
4. Salutes All
Over Veteran's Day Weekend and the Navy's birthday in 2019, Waterside District partnered with Blue Moon Brewing Company's Head Brewmaster, John Legnard, to develop a special beer. Salutes All is an American Pale brewed for the Hampton Roads military community. Waterside District invited all veterans, active-duty, and retired military personnel, their friends, family, and supporters for the official keg tapping of the beer over Veteran's Day Weekend, complete with a singing of the National Anthem, Presentation of Colors, a re-enlistment ceremony, cake cutting and music from the U.S. Fleet Forces band.
