After 10pm or during designated special events, patrons must be 21 years of age or older and possess a valid id; no loitering; no weapons; no panhandling; no solicitation; no disorderly conduct including profanity or profanity on clothing; shoes and shirts must be worn at all times; no bicycles or skateboards; no professional cameras; no coolers. The Waterside parking garage is located conveniently and safely across the street from Waterside District and valet parking is offered 7 days a week. There are also many other places to park around Waterside District and downtown Norfolk, including City of Norfolk parking garages available for both hourly and daily rates, as well as, street parking and free parking options! Waterside District’s Valet Parking costs $7 Sunday through Thursday, and $18 on Fridays and Saturdays.
By Bus: The Hampton Roads Transit bus system has five routes that serve Waterside. They are routes 6, 8, 45, 960 and 961. Patrons destined for Waterside District often use the bus stop at Waterside Drive and Commercial Place, which is a short walk from Waterside District.
By Rail: The Tide light rail has a stop at MacArthur Square which is less than a 10-minute walk from Waterside District.
By Ferry: The Elizabeth River Ferry connects the downtown's of Norfolk and Portsmouth.
